Save the Date: HARARE at TMS 2024

Our sister-project on hydrogen use, HARARE, is organizing a short course on hydrogen, to be held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS). The course is titled “Hydrogen as Energy Carrier and Reductant in Metallurgical Applications”.

📅 3 March 2024 (day before the main TMS event)
📍 Hyatt Regency Orlando, Florida, USA

Topics include hydrogen used as fuel, addressing related issues in burner and furnace design; and as a reductant in ferrous and other industries. Furthermore, safe working with hydrogen and the production and supply infrastructure of hydrogen will be discussed. The course combines lectures and breakout sessions on case work, allowing participants to suggest specific challenges to be addressed.

This course is ideal for professionals working in industry and national labs, though academics and PhD students may also find it beneficial. Don’t miss this unique learning opportunity!
