This week, the H2GLASS consortium met in the beautiful city of Avignon in France for its second annual meeting hosted at the fiber glass production site of Owens Corning.
A big thank you to all the partners who attended the meeting, particularly to Etienne Roux and Owens Corning for the great organization and warm hospitality!
During the meeting the consortium had the chance to reflect on the past year of H2GLASS and profit from an exchange over achievements made but also possible difficulties that were faced and turn them into opportunities to further grow!
Visiting the facilities of Owens Corning fiber glass production site also gave an insightful view on the current status and present work of glass production.
Leading to discussions and future challenges and opportunities the consortium might encounter on its mission to adapt hydrogen-based technologies in the glass sector.
Reviewing our past, seeing our present and discussing our future during the meeting helped to stay on track and focus on our goals and strenghtend our resolution to continue to do our best for H2GLASS!
The meeting was a great success and everyone left Avignon optimistic and motivated, looking forward to the coming year of working on H2GLASS to further revolutionise the glass industry! The consortium held meaningful discussions and proved once again to be on the path of transformation, overcoming hurdles and leading the way into a more sustainable and prosperous future of the glass sector! Getting closer to our goal to contribute to a significant reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from the glass sector as well as overall the decarbonisation of our share future!
