PTML, the UK research & development division of NSG Group, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of glass and glazing systems across architectural glass products, automotive and technical glass sectors, with operations in approximately 30 countries and a workforce of 27,000 employees. The trials of H2GLASS will take place at Pilkington UK Limited located at the Greengate Works in St Helens, where an impressive annual production of approximately 260,000 tonnes of flat glass occurs.
In this project, PTML will conduct tests in its regenerative furnace to visualise H2 flames using a UV camera, effectively showcasing its functionality.
